Hi, today I am going to talk about the architect Alberto Campo Baeza.
He is a Spanish architect. He was born in 1946 in Valladolid and he lives in Cádiz since he was 2 years old.
His father was a surgeon and his mother was an architect.
He is professor of projects at the school of architects of Madrid since 1986, where he has been a professor for more than 35 years. He has taught at the ETH Zurich and at EPFL in Lausanne, at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and in 2018, he has taught at the University of Vienna.
He has given lectures all over the world, and has received awards such as the Toroja for Caja GRANADA of the awarsa for teaching Excellence of the polytechnich University of Madrid.
More than 30 editions of his textbook "the built idea" have been published in several languages. He believes that the main of components of architecture are gravity, which builds space, and light, which builds time.
